As a Haulage Truck Driver, you'll be an integral part of a supportive team, working closely with excavators and loaders to meet bulk haulage needs for civil construction projects throughout your local community. You'll have the chance to engage in a variety of exciting projects, contributing to a team that prioritises your career growth and values a healthy work-life balance. You'll work with a great team to:

• Provide skillful operation of specialised equipment
• Day to day coordination of plant, labour, materials and resources
• Undertake a variety of civil works duties including road construction/maintenance, pot hole and heavy patching, footpath work, pipelaying, linemarking, pipe laying and minor sealing works
• Obtain and respond to client and public requests for information and
  assistance with works matters

What you'll bring

To thrive in this role, you will need:

• Class HC Drivers Licence and plant operator competence in Haulage Truck operation including mechanicalaptitude
• Appropriate work related (civil assets) experience
• Basic clerical capabilities, literacy and numeracy
• Good customer service and verbal communication skills
• Construction Work ticket and RTA Traffic control tickets (Traffic Controller & Implement traffic Control Plans)

We would also love you to have:

• Previous Local Government experience.
• TAFE Certificate III – Civil Construction/Maintenance and proficiency in the use of GPS field Technology

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $65,812 to $76,484.
