Team Leader – Development Compliance

Position Number: 4500

Location: Queanbeyan, Braidwood or Bungendore. Flexible work
arrangements considered.

The Package: $97,745.96 - $108,009.72 gross per annum + 11.5% super. (Evaluated as Grade 15 of the QPRC Salary System 2024) and a guaranteed increase of 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.

Full-time – 35 hours per week. Council will consider flexible/hybrid/remote working arrangements.

Are you an experienced leader in development compliance and looking for a new challenge in a flexible work environment?

In this role you will:
• Oversee a small team responsible for the inspections and enforcement of
compliance-related matters, including development and building compliance and
swimming pool safety.
• Provide education and advice to members of the community in accordance with
relevant legislation and building regulations, on compliance-related matters.

We are looking for someone who:
• Has tertiary qualifications in Building Surveying, Town Planning, Environmental
Health or equivalent and experience in Building Surveying or Town Planning or
Development Compliance within NSW Local Government
• Has strong leadership and time management skills to lead and motivate teams.
