Based in Urana working at Oaklands Swimming Pool

 The opportunity

In this casual role you will provide general labour efficiently and effectively across the Facilities area of operations in the Northern area of Federation Council, focusing on Oaklands Swimming pool over the swim season from November to April annually and other facilities for the remainder of the year.

In this role you will undertake:

  • Daily pool testing and reporting.
  • Cleaning of Pools and Amenities.
  • Minor Maintenance at the pools.
  • Grounds Maintenance at the Oaklands Pool.
  • Inspections of facilities to ensure safe for the public.
  • Minor repairs to facilities.

Criteria

  • Hold a Current and Valid driver’s licence (Class C or above).
  • Hold a General Construction induction certificate (White Card) or willingness to achieve.
  • Demonstrated relevant working experience.
  • Proven ability to work unsupervised and meet schedules and deadlines.

The appointment will be in accordance with the Local Government State Award, and Council’s policies and conditions of employment.  The wages are commencing at $33.38 per hour including casual loading with progression up to $36.84 per hour including casual loading dependent upon skills and experience.
