The role
Kickstart your career with CBCity! The Trainee Information Management role offers a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to gain experience in Information Management and Land Information at one of Australia’s largest Councils. You’ll contribute to the Information Management maturity roadmap project, modernising record-keeping practices across the organisation.
This role offers the chance to manage records in compliance with the State Records Act 2000, streamline communication across the organisation, and enhance systems using technology. You'll gain valuable experience with the Council’s name and address register, handle data entry, and support property numbering processes, all while playing a key role in improving records management practices. Additionally, you’ll contribute to various other impactful tasks as needed.

You will
- Be a current Year 12 student, recent school leaver, or early career professional (within 2 years of graduation).
- Have proven interest in Records and Information Management.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Have basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- The ability to handle multiple tasks with a keen eye for detail.
- Be a dedicated to professional development and continuous learning.
The salary range for this opportunity commences at $35,729 (T3 at 17 years of age) or $41,771 (T4 at 18 years or completed HSC) + 11.5% super.
