SALARY: $29.00 - 32.11 per hour + Super + Casual Loading

Work Type: Casual

Location: Civic Centre - Cnr Oxley & Mitchell Streets, Camden NSW 2570

Our Camden Civic Centre is currently going through an exciting new refurbishment and with the upcoming opening next year, we would like to open up a number of opportunities to work in this newly refurbished centre. We are currently seeking enthusiastic, customer focused individuals eager to be part of the collaborative functions team. As a Casual Events Attendant, you will work across every facet of function delivery for a diverse range of functions and events from weddings, expos, to comedy festivals, concerts, and conferences.

Reporting to the Team Leader, Cultural Operations and Events, you will be responsible for providing excellent and consistent customer service including guest check in, liaison, marshalling, RSA, cleaning, and food & beverage service that is compliant with legislative requirements and in accordance with the Council's standard of excellence.

Essential:

  • A demonstrated understanding and appreciation of quality customer service
  • Demonstrated experience within the service industry
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Flexible availability over a seven-day casual roster
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively organise and prioritise workloads
  • Demonstrated ability to apply EEO and WHS principles
  • Demonstrated experience in functions or events

Desirable:

  • Current Drivers licence
  • First Aid qualifications
  • Current RSA and ID Card
