Do you have?

· Demonstrated competencies in a similar or related field, e.g. at least Diploma in Leadership and Management, Diploma or CERT IV Local Government (Regulatory Services), Fire Control Officer (DFES), Recovery Coordinator / Manage Recovery Activities

· Introduction to Firefighting/ Bushfire Fighting

· Good knowledge of relevant legislation and understanding of compliance and enforcement issues.

· Demonstrated experience in Ranger Services and Community Safety including emergency service and fire and emergency related incident management.

· Good knowledge of, and experience in, the usage of computer systems and software packages.(MS Office, Synergy)

· Demonstrated experience in the development of strategic emergency, operational and financial (budget) management plans.

· Demonstrated leadership, management and customer service skills.

· Sound communication skills, with exposure to conflict resolution and problem solving.

· Ability to work autonomously within tight time constraints.

 

· Current West Australian ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence.

To be successful in this role you will have well developed customer services skills and the ability to positively influence community compliance, excellent written and oral communication skills and experience using IT and communications equipment. You will have good self and time management skills and the ability to meet organisational objectives.
