Is this the role for you?
- Strong commitment to delivering high-quality service and maintaining positive relationships with customers.
- Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal, with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize duties effectively.
- High level of accuracy in data entry, financial transactions, and customer bookings.
- Ability to resolve customer issues and inquiries efficiently, with appropriate escalation where necessary.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills related to customer service, administration, and Council services.
Essential criteria
- Completion of year 10 schooling education
- A strong interest in customer service and working with the public
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Desirable criteria
- Previous experience in customer service or office-based roles (e.g., retail, reception)
- Familiarity with customer service software or databases (training will be provided)

Salary details
Salary from: $24,429 to $62,358 pa + 11.5% superannuation + $1,000 transport allowance pa
35 hours per week with access to flexi time
