Byron Shire Council is currently seeking an enthusiastic person to fill the position of Facilites Officer at our local Cavanbah Centre.
The successful candidate will meet the criteria set out in the Position Description below and importantly will provide a quality facility and associated services to the users and tenants of the Cavanbah Centre. To undertake the day-to-day operations of the Cavanbah in an efficient and effective manner while providing high quality customer service. To handle Centre bookings, provide minor maintenance and cleaning support to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the facility and provide support services including e.g., set up and pack down of sports equipment, tables and chairs, technology etc.
This is a fixed term opportunity to temporarily replace an employee who is acting in a different position.

This opportunity offers:
- A term, part time position (21 hours per week) until November 2025. Hours worked over a 7day rotating roster. Shifts can include day and late evening shifts.
- Salary and Conditions will be in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award with an appointment at a salary in the range of $33.01 to $38.24 per hour (dependent upon skills and experience)

Location:
This position is based in Byron Bay at the Cavanbah Centre, however Council can require you to work from other work sites as required for operational reasons.

Pre-Employment Screening Process:
