We are currently seeking a Graphic Design and Communications officer to join our team.

Working closely with the Marketing and Communications Officer you will  assist with engagement and promotion of Liverpool Plains Shire Council and their services to the community. You will be responsible for development of Council documents and branding along with general marketing and engagement responsibilities.

To be successful in the role you will:

  • Hold formal qualifications in Communications, media, Marketing, Journalism or similar
  • Have outstanding written communication skills, including demonstrated experience in preparing a wide rang of communications materials across a variety of platforms
  • Have experience with using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Have the ability to work independently and manage your own workload

The Liverpool Plains Shire Council is a diverse organisation employing over 120 staff across a wide variety of fields who deliver a range of services to the local government area encompassing Blackville, Caroona, Currabubula, Pine Ridge, Premer, Quirindi, Spring Ridge, Wallabadah, Werris Creek and Willow Tree and the almost 8000 residents who reside there.

The council is situated in Quirindi, the heart of the Liverpool Plains, four hours North West of Sydney, famous for its stunning landscapes and rich, highly productive land and is the perfect place to call home.

We offer a salary starting at $33 to $42 per hour plus superannuation. The starting salary will be negotiated with the successful applicant dependent on skills, knowledge and experience relevant to the position.
