Your Role in Our Team
As a Fitness Trainer within our Sport and Leisure division, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operational requirements of our Fitness Department. Your responsibilities will include delivering exemplary customer experiences, providing support for the group fitness program, supervising gym activities, conducting fitness assessments, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for all members.
Your expertise will not only contribute to our clients' fitness journeys but also support various departmental functions, ensuring our facilities are welcoming and well-maintained.
About You
We are looking for passionate and dedicated fitness professionals who are eager to make a difference.
- Essential qualifications include a minimum Certificate IV in Fitness, CPR Certification, AUSactive registration and Senior First Aid Certificate.
- Previous experience in a similar role with a strong background in exercise programming and delivery is a must.
- A commitment to ongoing training and professional development.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour to foster a positive environment.

- Interview date: Interviews will be facilitated within two weeks from closing date.
- Package: $56,839 - $60,123 (FTE) gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation (paid pro rata to hours worked).
- Hours of work: Temporary and permanent part time opportunities ranging from 18.25 to 30 hours per week. Temporary opportunity is expected to be available up until 20th July 2025.
- Candidates must be available as rostered over a 7-day spread at various Leisure Centres (including Sutherland and Engadine Centre locations).

Suitable candidates are subject to pre-employment screening which includes Reference Checks, Work Rights Verification, Identity and Functional/Medical History Checks (including Covid-19 Vaccination), and may also include a Criminal History, Qualification and Working with Children Check.
