About this Role
As a Learn to Swim Supervisor, you will support the Swim Programs Team Leader and Senior Duty Officers in overseeing and delivering engaging swim programs. Your leadership will ensure that all operations run smoothly while maintaining our high standards of customer service.
In this role, you will:
- Maintain compliance with swim instruction standards and safety protocols.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and foster positive relationships with members.
- Support and mentor Learn to Swim Instructors, ensuring high-quality lesson delivery.
- Assist in program setup and provide feedback to parents and guardians.
- Engage in ongoing self-development and complete required training.
- Handle administrative duties related to swim programs efficiently.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is dedicated to fostering a positive and safe learning environment in the water.
- Essential qualifications include a current NSW Working with Children Check
- Austswim Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety, Swim Australia Teacher or RLS Swim teacher Licence
- Austswim Teacher of Infant and Toddlers Certificate or Swim Australia Teacher of Infants and Toddlers
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
- Experience in instructing all levels of Learn to Swim and excellent communication skills are a must.
- A self-motivated and reliable team player with strong organisational skills will thrive in this role.
- Desirable attributes include supervisory experience and a passion for aquatic education.

- Interview date: Interviews will be facilitated within two weeks of closing.
- Package: $59,723 - $63,303 (FTE) gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation (paid pro rata to hours worked).
- Hours of work: Temporary Part Time opportunities available, 20 hours per week. This opportunity is expected to be available for 12 months. Candidates must be available as rostered over a 7-day spread at various Leisure Centres (including Sutherland, Caringbah and Engadine Centre locations).
