About The Role

The Senior Procurement Business Partner is responsible for implementing a centre-led procurement methodology that adheres to best practises. This role focuses on managing the complete tender process, including the development of procurement strategies, documentation, evaluation, negotiation, and contract finalisation.

Your expertise will ensure that all procurement activities are conducted with fairness, transparency, and compliance with relevant legislation, including the NSW Local Government Act 1993 and associated regulations.

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in procurement within the public sector and a thorough understanding of local government legislation. You should have demonstrated experience in managing public tender processes and developing professional tender documentation.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Law, Construction, or Public Administration.
  • Extensive experience in public sector procurement and contract administration.
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and PDF for managing tenders and contracts.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Package: $104,345 - $122,876 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation
  • Hours of work: Permanent Full Time 35 hours per week with option of 19-day month flexitime arrangement
