About the Opportunity

Kickstart your career in Health, Safety, and Wellbeing (HSW) with a hands-on training opportunity at PMHC. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated HSW Trainee to join our People, Safety, and Performance team. This full-time, temporary position (18 months) will provide you with practical experience and professional development in a supportive and engaging workplace.
Creating a safe and supportive environment for our workforce of over 700 staff members our team plays a vital role in promoting health, safety, and wellbeing across the organisation. As an HSW Trainee, you will work closely with the Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Manager and team to support a range of activities, including:
- Assisting with HSW policy development, risk management, and inspections.
- Supporting the delivery and evaluation of health, safety, and wellbeing programs.
- Contributing to the management of workers’ compensation cases.
- Assisting with HSW communications and educational materials.
- Promoting a positive safety culture within the organization.
- Completing training modules in line with your traineeship requirements.
We are looking for someone eager to learn and develop their skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

- Organisational skills with the ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines.

Remuneration and Benefits
Employment type: Full-time role (35 hours per week), temporary
Weekly starting salary $439 to $809 (depending on your highest year of schooling completed and number years since you finished school).
You must be an Australian/NZ citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident; no visa or work permit support can be provided for this role.
