Peter began his career as an apprentice carpenter, later moving into civil engineering and advancing to senior executive roles. He served as General Manager at City of Canada Bay and currently at Inner West Council, leading significant cultural, environmental, and community improvements. His leadership earned Inner West Council the AR Bluett Award in 2023, and he was awarded the Public Service Medal in 2025 for his impactful contributions.
