Description

The Package: $71,944.08 - $79,500 gross per annum + 11.5% super. (Evaluated as Grade 9 of the QPRC Salary System 2024) and a guaranteed increase of 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.

Full-time – 35 hours per week - Fixed Term Contract (2 years). Flexible work arrangements will be considered for this role.

Are you experienced in information management and looking to support your local community?

 

In this role you will:

  • Undertake and manage the GIPA Act compliance and management processes, including internal and external reporting, system development and maintenance, Public Register management, process administration and internal training advice.
  • Maintain accurate and appropriate records of all applications and requests for information and prepare correspondence as required under the GIPA and PPIP Acts.
  • Attend to and process requests for the retrieval of files, records and other documentation associated with subpoenas and other formal requests for information.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a relevant tertiary qualification for the role and/or demonstrated experience in a similar role (Information Management, Record Keeping or equivalent)
  • Solid knowledge of and/or experience in accurately interpreting and analysing legislation and the ability to make sound recommendations.
  • Demonstrated experience in accurately searching and retrieving specific records and/or information from a variety of sources including electronic documents and records management systems.
