Total Package $78,998.49 per annum pro-rata (inclusive of superannuation)

WALGA is looking for an experienced, part-time Accounts Receivable professional to join our forward-thinking, customer-focused finance team.
Dive into a role where you will take charge of managing all aspects of the Accounts Receivable (AR) function. You will also provide assistance, when required to the Accounts Payable (AP) function and support the finance team with other transactional activities as needed.

Your keen attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities and seamless ability to learn and adapt to new systems will be highly valued, as will your willingness to contribute to, and collaborate with this supportive and cohesive team.

What does a typical week looks like?
As owner of the accounts receivable function, your day to day will include:
• Raising invoices and credit notes
• Account reconciliations
• Reviewing customer accounts
• Allocating remittances to debtor accounts
• Uploading debtor invoices to customer ERP systems
• Telephoning customers with overdue accounts;
Additionally, you will work with stakeholders to ensure timely collection of amounts due within agreed terms. You'll communicate with management and customers about account statuses, answering questions and providing solutions or recommendations.
Your role will also involve ensuring compliance with WALGA’s financial policies and procedures, engaging with the business, and assisting with auditing requirements and month-end processes. Flexibility, adaptability, and patience are essential, along with a comprehensive understanding of GST regulations.
