Are you an organised and proactive professional with a passion for supporting people and processes? We’re looking for a Human Resources Administration Officer to play a vital role in delivering high-quality administrative support and guidance to our team and stakeholders.

 

This position will require the successful applicant to work 16 hours per week across three days.

 

About the Opportunity

  • Providing efficient, competent, and confidential administrative support to the Human Resources team.
  • Actively assist with Human Resources processes and policies, offering guidance to internal departments, external organisations, and the public.

 

What you will bring
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:

  • Relevant post-secondary qualification / certificate or minimum three years’ experience in an administration role.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-level customer service with demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • High level written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently in person and over the phone.
  • Sound working knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office applications and experience maintaining an electronic record keeping system.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in and contribute to a team environment while managing own time effectively.
  • Hold a current satisfactory Police Check or willing to obtain one prior to employment.

 

Salary and Conditions
The position is classified within Band 4 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement ranging from $35.73 to $38.20 per hour plus statutory superannuation.
