Administration Officer – Major Projects (POS2565)

1 x Permanent Full Time - 35 hours, 5 days per week
Salary: Competitive Salary

The Administration Officer Major Projects provides and maintains high quality administrative assistance, support and information to the Major Projects Team to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders and contribute to the team’s service and efficiency.

 

 ABOUT THE ROLE

 

 The Administration Officer Major Projects is responsible for provision of high-quality administrative support on a consistent and ongoing basis, timely, accurate and correct entry of documents and information and participation in meetings and group activities.

 This role is required to have skills in managing and organising workflow and tasks of competing priorities, levels and volumes of work and being able to operate effectively and efficiently within a limited and demanding timeframe.

 

 Key Responsibilities

 

  • Consistent, high-quality admin support for internal stakeholders, including purchase orders and documentation.
  • Accurate and timely word processing and data entry.
  • Implementing efficient record-keeping systems for Major Projects.
  • Managing multiple priorities and high workloads.
  • Prompt and courteous handling of inquiries.
  • Active participation in meetings and multi-skilling.
  • Performing additional tasks for the Project Delivery Team.

 ABOUT YOU

The successful applicant will have:

  • Process driven, with a high attention to detail and a can-do
  • Strong written and communication skills is essential, along with exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated skills in a busy and varied process driven administration role.
  • Local Government Experience is preferred but not essential.
