The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a diligent individual to support the establishment, implementation, development and maintenance of BVSC’s Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) including the system tools and procedures that support its functionality.
As an Asset Management System Officer, you will assist with the ongoing development and integration of asset databases and deliver training for end users across Council. You will maintain procedural documentation for the operation of Council's EAMS, ensuring compliance with data agreements from both internal and external sources.

About You
We are seeking an individual who holds a Degree level qualification in engineering, asset management, information technology, data science or demonstratable equivalent experience and has a high level of computer literacy in the use, management and configuration of systems, including databases and client support.
You will have the following skills and experience;
- Knowledge, understanding, and experience in the development, implementation and management of corporate systems particularly in asset management systems within a local government context.
- Demonstrated project and time management skills with the ability to delivery quality outcomes to the agreed schedule and budget.
- Demonstrated experience in application management including user support, access management, continuous improvement and analytical thinking.
- High level of demonstrated customer focus to achieve defined outcomes and build trusted relationships.
Benefits
This is a fixed term full time position working 35 hours per week for a period of two (2) years.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $88,523.86 gross per annum, comprising of:
- $1,526.80 per week base salary
- $175.58 per week superannuation (calculated at 11.5%)
