Assistant Records Scanning Officer

Description
Join our Corporate Governance Unit to ensure the effective management of Council's records and information management. This position focuses on accurate back-scanning, as-needed scanning requests, and seamless importing into the Council’s Records Management System.
You’ll support Council by maintaining, storing, retrieving, and distributing records in line with best practice standards and the State Records Act 1998 while helping to implement Australian records management standards.
About the role:
- retrieval, preparation and scanning of historical paper files for registration into Council’s Electronic Document Management system
- assist the Records Scanning Officer with the day-to-day operations of the Records Storage Facility.

Where it's located:
This position is based in Murwillumbah and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
