The City of Rockingham is located 40km south of the Perth CBD and is one of the fastest growing local governments in the south metropolitan area. Responsible for the removal of illegally dumped material, effectively undertaking litter and debris collection across the City, targeting known illegal dumping areas and action all customer request management issues in a timely manner.
To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria as part of your online application:
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment or autonomously
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work in accordance with WHS and industry obligations
- Labouring experience relative to litter and waste collection
- Current ‘C’ Class driver’s licence
- WHS General Induction for Construction (White Card)
This position offers a gross wage of $1,403 per week (incorporate all allowances and penalty rates), and:
- 11.5% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
- A variety of health and wellbeing programs - physical health reimbursement subsidy payment of up to $150 per annum, free flu vaccinations, free skin cancer checks, mental health programs and Employee Assistance Provider (EAP) services
