The Opportunity

As the Business Support Officer at the City of Perth, you will be a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for organisation and efficiency. In this key role, you’ll be at the heart of our Surveillance Centre, ensuring seamless coordination across all administrative workflows and playing a pivotal part in driving the team’s success.

Reporting to the Coordinator Surveillance within our City Watch team your responsibilities would primarily include:

  • Supporting the Coordinator in organising rosters, managing workflows, planning activities, general office management and setting priorities for team members;
  • Delivering exceptional customer service across all contact channels and manage and resolve queries and complaints;
  • Overseeing and coordinating training and development programs; and
  • Preparing budgetary data and facilitate procurement processes.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in providing operational / business/ project support;
  • Sound knowledge of financial processes such as raising purchase orders, receipting and budget control;
  • Demonstrated well-developed & effective interpersonal and written skills; and
  • Sound organisational skills with the ability to contribute to a team environment with competing priorities.
