About the role
As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in optimising our ERP system and core applications to ensure our business systems run smoothly. Reporting to the Coordinator Business Systems, you’ll work closely with a variety of different stakeholders to streamline workflows, improve processes, and maximise the efficiency of our systems.

What you’ll be doing:
- Analysing and optimising business process workflows to improve efficiency and service delivery
- Consulting with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver practical solutions
- Configuring and enhancing the City’s ERP system (TechnologyOne) and other core applications
- Supporting system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements to ensure smooth operations
- Liaising with vendors and service providers on product faults and service requests
- Providing technical advice and guidance to users on best practice and system functionality
What you will bring to the role:
- A qualification in Information Systems or Computer Science
- Significant experience supporting large ERP systems and core applications - exposure to the TechnologyOne suite of products is highly desirable!
- Strong understanding of ERP system functionality, including configuration, integration & reporting
- Proven ability mapping and optimising business process workflows, and driving system efficiencies
- Ability to engage with stakeholders from all levels and translate their needs into practical and workable solutions
- A proactive and ‘can-do’ mind-set!
