About the role
The Baldivis Indoor Sports Complex (BISC), located on Eighty Road in Baldivis, is the City of Rockingham’s newest leisure facility and committed to providing excellent customer service to all patrons during every visit. BISC accommodates sports such as basketball, netball, badminton, volleyball, indoor and indoor soccer, and hosts a range of other wellness programs.
Primarily based at BISC you will assist our customers when they visit our on-site Café. This will include customer service, food preparation and handling, maintaining a clean working environment and cash handling. If you are a team player with great people skills, leadership potential, strong time management and food preparation skills to match, we want to hear from you!
Hours will be worked from Monday to Sunday, 5am to 10pm. From time to time you may also be required to work in other City leisure facilities including Aqua Jetty, Mike Barnett Sports Complex and Rockingham Aquatic Centre.
Applicants must be flexible and available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria as part of your online application:
- Experience in a similar role, involving customer service
- Competent in safe food handling practices and food preparation requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
In addition to having a positive attitude you must also possess the following:
- Current Food Handling Certificate
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
Experience in ordering, stock management and team leadership is desirable.
What we offer
You will be paid $52,658 per annum pro-rata, which equates to $26.64 per hour. Other benefits of working with us include:
- 11.5% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
