About the role
The City of Rockingham has several opportunities based at the Baldivis Indoor Sports Complex, one of the region’s newest leisure facilities, located on Eighty Road, Baldivis. Our leisure facilities are committed to providing excellent customer service to all patrons during every visit.
Your role at the Centre will be to assist our customers when they visit our on-site Café. This will include customer service, food preparation and handling, maintaining a clean working environment and cash handling. If you are a team player with great people skills, strong time management and food preparation skills to match, we want to hear from you!
In addition to having a positive attitude you must also possess the following:
- Current Food Handling Certificate
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
The Baldivis Indoor Sports Complex accommodates for sports such as basketball, netball, badminton, volleyball, indoor and indoor soccer and hosts a range of other wellness programs. Hours will be as per business requirements, Monday to Sunday, 7:00am to 9:00pm. As a City employee, you may also be required to work in other City leisure facilities including Aqua Jetty, Mike Barnett Sports Complex and Rockingham Aquatic Centre.
Applicants must be flexible and available to work in line with the facilities opening hours. Positions are offered with a guaranteed minimum 5 hours per week.
To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria as part of your online application:
- Experience in a similar role, involving customer service
- Competent in safe food handling practices and food preparation requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
What we offer
You will be paid $50,633 per annum pro-rata, which equates to $25.62 per hour.
