Job/Responsibilities

In this role you will assist with the Community Development and Support teams in the delivery various programs, projects, activities and events. Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with planned youth activities, including organising and setting up materials, participating in activities, communicating with young people and liaising with relevant service providers.
  • Providing practical assistant and support with the delivery of Community Development initiatives, programs and events.
  • Assisting in maintaining statistical records and general administrative duties
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of clients and ensuring records are secured

So what do you need?

To be successful in these positions you will need:

  • A current Class C driver’s licence
  • NSW Working with Children Check
  • Ability to obtain a satisfactory Criminal Background Check

Ideally you will also have previous experience in assisting with the delivery of community events, programs, activities and projects, as well as excellent communication skills and an interest in working with young people and people from diverse backgrounds.
