The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a motivated and analytical individual to undertake the maintenance and repairs of water supply and sewerage pipeline systems utilising CCTV technologies to recognised health, environmental and BVSC standards. 

As CCTV Technician, you will inspect, evaluate, and report on water and sewerage pipeline systems as well as determine and implement corrective maintenance of equipment. You will administer the planning and organising of resources and make recommendations for the purchasing of new equipment.

About You

We are seeking an individual who holds the following qualifications and licences:

  • Certificate III in Water Industry Operations
  • SafeWork NSW Construction Induction (White Card)
  • Confined Spaces Entry Certificate
  • NSW Traffic Controller Qualification
  • Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence

You will have the following skills and experience;

  • Demonstrated skills in the setup and use of CCTV equipment used for purposes of pipeline inspections.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic principles of Water and Wastewater systems, including the ability to interpret maps and plans.
  • Supervisory skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in the use of a personal computer and the associated use of Microsoft software packages including mapping software and maintenance record software.

Benefits

This is a permanent full time position working 38 hours per week.

The total remuneration package for this position commences at $77,293.14 gross per annum, comprising of:

  • $1333.10 per week base salary
  • $153.31 per week superannuation (calculated at 11.5%)
