The Role

Reporting to the Director Corporate Services and based in Windsor NSW, the CFO is responsible for the planning, implementation and management of all financial activities of Council including financial performance, whilst ensuring these activities align with best practice and satisfy legislative obligation. It is the direct responsibility of the CFO to effectively lead and develop the teams within the Financial Services Branch, which include the Payroll and Accounts Payable, Rates and Revenue, Accounting Services and Procurement teams.

About You

You will have extensive experience in a senior finance role preparing budgets, annual financial statements and long-term financial plans within a complex organisation. You will have demonstrated experience in advising senior executives and boards on finance strategy, change management and business improvement to support organisational goals. You will be an adept leader with proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and have a tertiary qualification in finance/accounting and be an Accredited Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) / Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA).
