Role Overview

As a Child Care Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced educators to support the daily activities and routines within our childcare center. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in our care.

You will assist with implementing educational programs, engaging children in play-based learning activities, and maintaining a clean and organised environment.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who have a genuine interest in working with children and are committed to creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting. Please note that prior experience in a childcare setting is desirable but not essential. Other requirements include: 

  • Passion for early childhood education
  • Working with Children Check clearance
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively
  • Immunised against Hepatitis A & B, Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR), Tetanus, Diptheria and Pertussis, Influenza and Varicella (Chicken Pox).
