$81,503.00 per annum (pro-rata) plus superannuation

About the role

Interested in construction, regulations, and ensuring buildings are safe? The City of Sydney is offering a Building Surveyor Cadetship, allowing you to gain hands-on experience while completing a Bachelor of Building Surveying or related qualification.

 

What you’ll do:

Assist in building inspections & compliance checksLearn about Council's responsibility to regulate temporary structures located in the public domain  Work alongside registered building surveyors on real projects

Who can apply?
University students in their penultimate or final year of studying building surveying, construction management, or a related field.  Note: consideration may also be given to students nearing completion of an NVR approved Advanced Diploma of Building Surveying.

This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.
