About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team as a Senior Environmental Health Officer.

 

As the Senior Environmental Health Officer, you’ll play a key role in leading investigations and enforcing regulations in the management of pests on public land, while also handling a wide range of public and environmental health matters.

 

You’ll work collaboratively with local authorities, stakeholders, and the community to promote environmental health and sustainability.

 

We’re looking for someone with:

 

a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Science (Environmental Health or equivalent)experience in successfully delivering environmental health functions, including inspections, investigations, and enforcementknowledge and hands-on experience applying public and environmental health legislation, policies, and guidelines.

This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month. 

The recommended applicant must complete a pre-employment health declaration, medical assessment and criminal history check.
