About the role

Join the Sustainability Programs team working to improve the environmental performance of buildings and greater community resilience in line with Sustainable Sydney 2030 – 2050, the Environmental Strategy, Circular Economy Statement and other relevant City strategies.

 

The Officer role will focus on measuring, evaluating and communicating outcomes from the delivery of the City’s Sustainability Programs, using best practice measurement and analytics to evaluate results – emissions reduction, energy and water savings, and circular economy outcomes to report collective impact and community benefits to key stakeholders and audiences.

 

What we're looking for:

tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or extensive knowledge of environmental and resilience issuesproven experience in sustainability program design and evaluationstrong data analysis skills, including experience with Excel and Power BIknowledge of climate legislation, environmental performance in buildings, circular economy, and climate resilience in cities

This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.
