Permanent Full-time Opportunity
35-hour work week - Variable Day off every 19 days
Salary Ranging from $100,946.04 - $117,316.16 per annum + 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance + 11.5% Superannuation (Depending on Experience and Qualifications)

The Role
As a Civil Design Engineer, you will undertake investigation, design, construction plan preparation, cost estimation, and all pre-construction planning of local government civil infrastructure projects in accordance with relevant engineering standards, guidelines, and policies, environmental & WHS legislation, and drafting standards. Projects include roads, intersections, roundabouts, carparks, pedestrian facilities, shared paths, stormwater drainage structures & pipelines.
Essential Criteria
- Degree in Civil Engineering with sound practical experience in the facilitation of Roads & Drainage civil designing.
- Proficient experience in the use of civil design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Civil Site Design and Drains specific software.
- Demonstrated knowledge in current AR&R Standards for Stormwater design, civil engineering standards, guidelines and relevant legislations.
- Demonstrated ability in interpreting complex designs/plans and facilitating resolution through problem solving and critical thinking.
- Proven experience in the preparation and delivery of technical specifications and contract documentation.
- Hold current C Class drivers' licence and WHS Induction Card.
- Maintain drivers' licence without restriction
- Be willing to complete a pre-employment medical prior to commencement
