About the role

We are looking for an experienced Civil Designer to join our team and support Council in the delivery of its Infrastructure Delivery Program.

Council's Civil Design team delivers exceptional services, infrastructure, and facilities for our community. Some examples include City and Village Centre upgrades, Grand Pacific Walk Shared Path projects, intersection upgrade projects, and traffic facilities. You will also work closely with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes with a high level of customer service.

  • You have extensive experience in civil design.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A qualification in Civil Design.
  • Extensive design experience across a range of civil design projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to analyse, resolve, and report on relevant technical problems and issues.
  • The ability to work independently to prepare design documentation for a wide range of civil infrastructure projects.

This is a Permanent full-time position. Salary up to $60.46 per hour, plus superannuation. Salary package will be assessed based on skills, experience and qualifications.
