What this role looks like:

  • Work in a team to assist with the maintenance of Council’s Shire Presentation Infrastructure Assets including (but not limited to) cleaning of public spaces and pits, monitoring stockpile sites, minor concreting and paving works, waste collection and assistance to community and other groups and emergency response
  • Assist in the delivery of maintenance programs and activities across all of Council’s infrastructure asset classes
  • Respond to planned and reactive maintenance requests
  • Removal of orphan waste (including asbestos) and cleaning up of sites
  • Public place cleaning and waste collection
  • Operate plant or equipment including driving a truck and towing a plant trailer

 What are we seeking in our new team member:

  • Minimum of 1 year in a similar role
  • NSW Class MR Driver’s licence – or willingness to obtain
  • White Card – General Construction Induction Licence – or willingness to obtain
