Join our Community Connections Unit as a Community Development Advisor and help create connected, resilient, and inclusive communities. This role will see you developing strategies, policies, and programs that benefit children, families and young people.
You’ll work closely with community groups, residents, and key stakeholders to deliver events, and initiatives that meet the evolving needs of our community.
- Develop and implement strategies to build capacity, social connectedness, and resilience in the community.
- Collaboration with schools, youth services and community organisations.
- Support the sector to design programs which support the health and well-being of young people.
Key Requirements
We seek a qualified individual with a strong background in community services, capable of building effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in either Social Science, Social Work, Youth Work, Education, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Proven experience in community development, project management, and planning processes.
- Skills: Strong organisational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Other: A current driver’s license and Working with Children Check (WWCC).

- Package: $91,120 - $96,591 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
- Hours of work: Permanent full-time 35 hours per week, with the option of a 19 day month (flexi-time arrangement).
