About the role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Contracts and Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support the delivery of best practice procurement and contract management, ensuring compliance with legislative and procedural requirements while maintaining the integrity of our decision-making processes.
The role involves leading tender evaluation panels and quotation reviews to ensure compliance, probity, and value for money. You will guide and monitor staff to ensure sourcing, tendering, and contract management activities adhere to relevant legislation and policies. Additionally, you will develop and manage the contract management system and enhance the contract award process by supporting staff during tender approval, due diligence, contract formation, and execution.
Requirements
- Demonstrated relevant work experience in a procurement/contract administration role
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation, administration and management of tender and contract documents across a variety of procurement categories
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the evaluation and selection of tenders and quotations
- Demonstrated experience in the development, review and implementation of contract management and procurement policies, practices and procedures
- Proven experience in reviewing contract clauses and identifying contractual risks to ensure compliance with policies and meet legal and operational requirements
- Experience in stakeholder management, including the development and execution of innovative contract administration/management strategies
