Position Overview
The Coordinator Facility Maintenance plays a vital role in managing the operations of the Fleet & Facility Operations Unit. We are looking for two Coordinators with the position split, both responsible for ensuring that all facilities and services meet the community's needs while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. The Coordinator(s) will manage vendor relationships, maintain equipment, and create a safe and productive physical environment for all employees as well as splitting the responsibilities between (fire, playgrounds and painting) and (structures and fixtures).
Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, managing budgets, and providing technical support to promote effective service delivery. The successful candidate will also be tasked with developing and maintaining a safe working environment while coordinating with vendors and service providers.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in facility maintenance, asset management and project management, with a strong commitment to community service and safety standards.
- Essential qualifications include a Diploma in Building Studies, Project Management, or Management, along with a Trade Certificate in a Building Discipline.
- Experience in coordinating building maintenance and construction projects.
- Proficient in software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor staff and manage internal and external relationships effectively.

- Package: From $104,300 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation
- Hours of work: Permanent full time 38 hours per week 9 day fortnight
