Coordinator – Waste Contracts, Planning & Commercial

  • Bayside Council is seeking a dynamic leader to drive our award-winning waste management initiatives forward.

  • Earn between $115, 947.78 and $129,861.58 pa plus 11.5% Superannuation

About the role

  • Contract Management - Oversee $25-$30M in annual waste services and processing contracts, including general waste, recycling, garden organics, bulky waste, and problematic waste. Lead the transition to FOGO by 2030 and integrate advanced and emerging technology solutions.
  • Strategic Planning - Manage and develop future-focused waste management plans for new developments.
  • Commercial Growth - Manage and expand our client base of 1,400 clients, driving innovative business strategies.

About you

  • Background in, and passionate about waste, sustainability and/or the environment.
  • Experienced in contract management, strategic planning and/or sales.
  • Visionary, embracing latest tech solutions.
  • Skilled in client relations and business growth.

Salary Range: Between $115, 947.78 - $129,861.58 pa
