About the role
The role of Crew Member Construction is responsible for the delivery of construction projects, predominantly in the roads and drainage field and acting as a member in a team of in-house construction staff.
This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Key activities of this role include:
- carrying out construction labouring duties associated with the completion of roads, drainage and concreting works
- completing all tasks in adherence of WHS, EMS and Risk Management Policies, initiatives on the worksite and practices for the Unit
- operating small plant and equipment including rollers, other compaction equipment, electrical tools, levelling lasers, chainsaws, concrete saws.
Essential criteria:
- General Induction Card (White) for Construction Works or equivalent
- Class C Driver’s Licence
- Traffic Controller Licence or willingness to obtain
- Safe Work near Overhead Power Lines; or willingness to obtain

Other important information
- The salary range for this position ranges between $57.1K to $68.5K pa (dependent on skills and experience) plus 11.5% superannuation
- We have a permanent full-time role available
- This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight
- This role is located at the Erina Works Depot
Council may create an eligibility list from this recruitment process and may utilise this eligibility list to fill other permanent or temporary vacancies.
