About Sutherland Shire Leisure Centres

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Administration and Customer Service Officer to help us deliver outstanding experiences to our visitors.
As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, processing transactions efficiently, and ensuring that our facilities are welcoming and well-organised. Your contributions will help create a positive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and supported.
Your Role and Responsibilities
In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, processing payments, and performing administrative tasks to support the Customer Service team.
- Provide a warm welcome and excellent first impressions to all visitors.
- Process transactions promptly using our Leisure Centres operating system.
- Maintain a clean and organised front reception area to enhance the customer experience.
- Assist with customer inquiries and effectively manage complaints to ensure complete satisfaction.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for a proactive and friendly individual who thrives in a bustling customer service environment and possesses a passion for helping others.
- Proven experience in a busy customer service or reception role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience with POS systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- A well-organised approach to time management and multitasking.

- Interview date: Interviews will be facilitated within two weeks of advert closing.
- Package: $56,839 - $60,123 full time equivalent gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation (paid pro rata to hours worked) .
- Hours of work: Permanent Part-Time 20 hours per week. Applicants must be willing to work hours across a 7 day a week spread, across all 3 Leisure Centres, operating from 5am – 9pm (Monday-Sunday).
