We are seeking a positive and confident individual with demonstrated experience in customer service and in providing strong leadership by empowering, motivating and developing people to achieve results.

In this role you will have the following accountabilities:

• Supervise the Customer Service Team and implement identified customer service improvements.
• Provide a first point of contact for all incoming compliments, complaints and feedback in line with Shire policy
• Coordinate the development and maintenance of relevant work rosters to ensure effective allocation and completion of tasks within the service team.
• Provide direction to the Customer Service Team through the use of corporate software and the correct application of organisational policy and procedure to ensure accurate processing of customer requests and enquiries and undertaking of general administrative functions.

Our preferred candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skillset:

• Demonstrated ability to lead people and be accountable in a customer service/call centre work environment by empowering, motivating and developing people to achieve results.
• Demonstrated ability and strong commitment to establishing and maintaining working relationships with a diverse range of people with the aim of meeting customer needs, expectations and business goals.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong team building experience, with a proven ability to lead cultural change, and influence team members to strive to deliver excellent customer service.
