About the Opportunity
Do you consider yourself an adaptable and proactive leader with a passion for planning and development? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Development Services Manager to lead and coordinate the Development Services Unit here with Council.
In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for managing and guiding the Development Services team to deliver statutory planning services and support the achievement of our Council's Strategic Plan objectives related to development services.
As the Development Services Manager, your leadership, management, and coordination will be essential in ensuring the team operates effectively and efficiently, providing high quality planning services across the organisation. You will be instrumental in supporting the Directors and Council, making a direct impact on the successful achievement of the Strategic Plan.

Remuneration
$183,356 - $210,859 per annum plus superannuation and a leaseback vehicle.

About You
The successful candidate will hold a degree in Town Planning or other relevant equivalent qualifications, have prior experience managing a Development Assessment team and will bring extensive, specialised experience in development assessment, planning, or a related field at a senior level. Sound Land and Environment Court experience would be beneficial however, a comprehensive knowledge of statutory requirements, including relevant acts and regulations, is essential for this position.
