About the role

Would you love to play a pivotal role in shaping the online presence of our City, driving strategic initiatives and fostering meaningful connections with our community?

This opportunity is now available until March 2025, full-time with potential to extend. In this role, you’ll be the go-to specialist for all things digital communications. You’ll be instrumental in managing the City’s online channels, including social media, web, intranet and eNews to effectively communicate with our diverse audiences.

In this role, you will undertake duties such as:

  • Develop marketing and communications campaigns
  • Craft and execute the Digital Communications Channel Plan
  • Drive subscription growth and interaction across digital platforms
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in all digital communications activities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support the overall mission and initiatives of the City

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations or Communications
  • At least 5-years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in digital communications with demonstrated results in increasing customer engagement
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to tailor message to diverse audiences.

What we offer:
