  • Remuneration package range of $180,000 - $198,000 per annum including private use of a Town vehicle or allowance and superannuation
  • 5 weeks’ annual leave

About the role

Are you ready to take on a strategic leadership role that will shape the future of corporate services in a dynamic local government? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and visionary leader to join our Executive Leadership Team and oversee the Town’s Corporate Services portfolio, including Finance, Information Technology, Governance, and Risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the Corporate Services portfolio, including Finance, ICT, Governance, and Risk.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies, long-term financial planning, and risk frameworks.
  • Provide high-level strategic advice and leadership to support Council and the Executive Team.
  • Ensure strong governance, compliance, and accountability across corporate functions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and service excellence.
  • Lead the organisation through transformation and change initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Extensive leadership experience at an executive level within local government or a similar sector.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Leadership, or a related discipline (postgraduate qualifications highly regarded).
  • Proven experience in financial management, governance, ICT, and risk oversight.
  • Strong strategic planning, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership capabilities.
