The Opportunity
Reporting to the Dorrigo Support Centre Coordinator, this role is responsible for providing administrative and client support to ensure the smooth operation of the Dorrigo Support Centre. Key duties include financial management tasks such as invoicing and procurement, coordinating support worker rosters, and ensuring compliance with aged care quality standards. You will also lead communication efforts for the Centre, including newsletters, social media, and event coordination to promote community engagement.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with seniors in a support or community services role, along with an understanding of the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and Home Care Package Program. A Certificate III in Disability or Aged Services is desirable, as well as a First Aid Certificate and a current driver licence. Strong administrative skills, including experience in financial processes and record-keeping, will also be highly valued.
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to work independently, and a passion for enhancing the lives of seniors. You will enjoy planning events, building relationships, and fostering a welcoming environment for older residents. Annual salary of $60,312 to $69,656 (plus super). This will be pro rata to the applicable hours of the position.

Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. For a continuing position, you must be an Australian New Zealand citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident.
Australian Temporary Residents may be considered for a fixed term contract for the length of their visa, depending on the requirements of the hiring area and the position.
