  • Annual Salary from $59,474 to $69,703 + 11.5% Super
  • Access to Council's RDO arrangement

Your Position:

If you enjoy working on a range of outdoor activities,
taking pride in ensuring our public parks and open spaces are maintained
to a high standard and enjoy being part of a team, this role is for you.

Your responsibilities will include but not be
limited to:-

  • Conducting scheduled daily and weekly
    work programs for Parks and Open Space
  • Mowing, edging, pruning, planting of
    trees/shrubs, sports field maintenance, pesticide application, weeding, tree
    maintenance and other general maintenance works
  • Operate plant and equipment including
    chipper, ride-on mowers, excavator and, medium rigid vehicles
  • Reporting all vehicle/plant problems
    to your team leader or mechanics staff

To be successful in this role you will have:-

  • Current NSW Class MR Licence
  • General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Traffic Controllers Certificate or
    willingness to obtain
  • AQF3 Chemical Certificate or
    willingness to obtain
  • Experience in the operation of
    ride-on mowers and other small plant (i.e brushcutters, push mowers, edgers,
    blowers)

Key Requirements:

  • COVID 19 vaccination (2 Vaccines)
  • Willingness to complete
    pre-employment screening which may include: a pre-employment medical
    examination and police check
