Your Position:
If you enjoy working on a range of outdoor activities,
taking pride in ensuring our public parks and open spaces are maintained
to a high standard and enjoy being part of a team, this role is for you.
Your responsibilities will include but not be
limited to:-
- Conducting scheduled daily and weekly
work programs for Parks and Open Space - Mowing, edging, pruning, planting of
trees/shrubs, sports field maintenance, pesticide application, weeding, tree
maintenance and other general maintenance works - Operate plant and equipment including
chipper, ride-on mowers, excavator and, medium rigid vehicles - Reporting all vehicle/plant problems
to your team leader or mechanics staff
To be successful in this role you will have:-
- Current NSW Class MR Licence
- General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Traffic Controllers Certificate or
willingness to obtain - AQF3 Chemical Certificate or
willingness to obtain - Experience in the operation of
ride-on mowers and other small plant (i.e brushcutters, push mowers, edgers,
blowers)

Key Requirements:
- COVID 19 vaccination (2 Vaccines)
- Willingness to complete
pre-employment screening which may include: a pre-employment medical
examination and police check
