Permanent Full Time position

Salary: $71,339 to $79,888 per fortnight, based on 76 hours fortnight, plus superannuation.

Appointed salary in this range will be based on skills, knowledge and experience.

About the role

Is it time for a career change or to build on your current one?! An exciting opportunity exists for an Aquatic and Sport Stadium Duty Co-ordinator who is committed to providing excellent customer service whilst maintaining industry best practice with regards to aquatic safety, and indoor sports stadium day to day operations at Hornsby Councils Aquatic Centres and Thornleigh Indoor sports stadium.

This role will require working regular weekend shifts.

About you

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic person with excellent communication skills.  You will have the ability to support aquatic and recreation processes and oversee, instruct and help aquatic and recreation staff with training and education and programs/bookings set up.

Your new role will require you to have the following criteria:

  • Demonstrate a can do attitude with high customer service and team support skills
  • Demonstrate strong computer software skills and knowledge
  • Willingness to complete Pool Lifeguard in the first 3 months
  • Current Advanced Resuscitation Certificate
  • Current First Aid Certificate
