Starting salary range: $106,516.80 to $112,028.80pa + allowances
Starting salary, within salary range, is negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
Other benefits include super matching scheme, and 6 weeks annual leave.

We have an opportunity for an Engineering Technical Officer to join our Infrastructure Services team in Tom Price.

This exciting opportunity will provide the incumbent with the ability to fast track their career in Local Government due to the sheer variety of work the Shire of Ashburton can offer in the civil engineering space.

The Engineering Technical Officer duties include project investigation and management, contract management, survey and design functions, development controls, and general technical advice with the overall focus being on roads, drainage, pathways, car parks and can include coastal and landscape projects and/or medium scale building projects.

We are looking for candidates that have great communications and time management skills. Who can problem solve, demonstrate initiative, meet deadlines, and who can work well autonomously and in a team. Experience in civil engineering, CAD systems, and civil design and construction are a must.

This position offers a competitive remuneration package and six weeks’ annual leave. All terms and conditions are as per the Shire of Ashburton Enterprise Agreement 2022.
