Your Position:

Reporting to the Director City Assets, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our professional performance by providing vital administrative and project support whilst leading a small team of Administration Assistants to ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Leading and directing the work activities of the directorate's Administration Assistants.
  • Coordinating and writing various forms of communication including public correspondence.
  • Coordinating the Directorate's meetings, including preparing agendas and accurately recording minutes. 
  • Overseeing assigned administrative projects while ensuring compliance with organisational standards.
  • Reviewing and enhancing administrative practices to ensure streamlined outcomes across the Directorate.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Diploma
    in business administration or a related discipline with relevant experience in
    a similar role.
  • Proven ability to lead and support teams to achieve work targets effectively.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills for sensitive correspondence.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with a strong ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular office hours when required.

Key Requirements:

  • COVID 19 vaccination for all employees (2 Vaccines)
  • Willingness to complete a National Police History Check
  • Willingness to complete a pre-employment health assessment (where applicable)
  • Current NSW Driver's Licence
