The role of the Creative Communities team is to lead the delivery of creative programs including festivals, events and activations, place making projects and cultural initiatives that promote the creativity, diversity and vibrancy of the community and position the Inner West as a creative and cultural leader. As the Executive Producer, will support the development of the strategic direction of Council's creative activations including festivals and events as well as programs that meets the changing community and cultural priorities and maintains Council's position as a leader in the provision of high-quality community activations and events. You will ensure the successful delivery of an integrated suite of major activations including festivals and events across Inner West Council that supports the strategy and celebrates and promotes the unique local culture and engages citizens in community life. You will lead the production of festivals, events and activations that will enhance social inclusion, economic development, cultural diversity and creativity, precinct attraction, and define and help drive the brand and identity of the Inner West.

$123,025.76 - $134,781.40 + 11.5% Superannuation
Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in event management, arts administration, business, tourism studies or an equivalent field.
- Significant experience in managing delivery of large-scale activations including festivals and events and programs.
- Ability to manage diverse relationships at a variety of organisational levels and take a facilitative approach, with a particular focus on stakeholder partnerships.
- Knowledge and skills in contemporary leadership practices, staff management, performance management, staff development, change management, quality management systems and sustainability.
- Experience in financial and budget management.
